Welcome to Susan Oakley's Electronic Portfolio!

The main purpose of this portfolio is to showcase my teaching experience, education, and teaching philosophies. The links on the right are organized by the nine teaching standards.

I am life-long Alaskan and a teacher with 13 years of experience. The bulk of my teaching experience is in middle school and teaching French. I would like to take my teaching experience and apply it to the elementary classroom.

With the world becoming a smaller place because of the Internet and International commerce. I believe it is necessary to teach children world languages at an earlier age. It was necessary for me to obtain an elementary certification. It is my hope to implement an world language elementary program.
